QUATUOR ÉBÈNE
2019 - 2020 : Quatuor Ébène will celebrate Beethoven’s 250th Birthday by performing all his string quartets around the world. As a climax, they will play the full cycle at Carnegie Hall in New-York. All along this odyssey, the Quatuor Ébène will record a 7CD box for Erato Warner. Their adventure will be followed in a documentary film, showing their encounters with all kind of audiences during this journey.
Involved in communicating Beethoven’s message, they begin a trip both musical and humanist as a global call for environmental awareness.
